As a light espresso, our Omniroast ORANGE is clearly fruity. When prepared pour-over, you can expect a pleasantly smooth filter coffee with a lovely sweetness and light notes of red fruits.

About the origin of green coffee

This coffee comes from Cajamarca, one of Peru's most important growing regions. The region is located in the north-eastern Andes and offers ideal conditions for specialty coffee with its fertile soils, high altitudes and a semi-dry, tropical-cool climate. Cajamarca is considered Peru's central coffee region and accounts for around a quarter of the national coffee production.

The coffees in this Regional Select lot come from small-scale producers, who usually cultivate only two to three hectares. Many work according to organic principles or are organized in cooperatives, which have contributed significantly to the region's quality development in recent years. Instead of being traced back to a single farm, Regional Select Peru forms a carefully compiled lot with regional traceability and a clear origin profile.

For Regional Select, coffees are selected based on cup quality and character. The aim is a profile that reflects the origin while offering reliable quality. The lots are in the specialty range and show typical Peruvian elegance: soft, balanced and accessible - with notes of cocoa, toffee, caramel, almond and delicate fruit such as plum or sweet cherry.
